Black Vulture
I designed and produced a two-poster campaign with a companion social media asset for Black Vulture Ramen. The work promoted the brand through clear, educational messaging for a small, family-run team dedicated to bringing authentic, delicious ramen to the Athens community.
Process
A focused, premium layout where the ramen bowl is the undisputed centerpiece.
I started with rapid sketches and layout studies to explore hierarchy, contrast, and composition.
Using rough layout frames, I experimented with balance, spacing, and focal hierarchy. The goal was to ensure the ramen bowl remained the undisputed centerpiece while secondary elements such as type, symbols, and supporting imagery reinforced the message without competing for attention. This guided decisions on scale, contrast, and negative space.
After selecting the strongest direction, I refined the composition digitally, tightening typography, contrast, and alignment. The design was optimized to read clearly from a distance for print while remaining effective and legible when adapted for social media formats.
